As part of a LAHAV course, ZOOZ will give a lecture today on managing enthusiasm in sales to the employees of the First International Bank. Mr. Eran Shachar, a senior lecturer at ZOOZ and one of the leading experts in Israel on managing sales teams and motivating salespeople, will give the lecture.

In the upcoming months, ZOOZ will conduct Systematic Innovation workshops at CaesarStone. The process will include generating dozens of ideas for innovation in quartz countertops, and later an innovation committee will be established to screen the ideas according to pre-defined criteria, and determine which new products will be developed and when.

In the upcoming months, ZOOZ will conduct Systematic Innovation workshops at the Plasgad factory, which manufactures plastic containers and other plastic products. The process is being conducted by Ari Manor, CEO of ZOOZ, as part of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor’s Nitsos Program.

A practical Innovation Management course is currently ending for students of the international program at the Herzelia Interdisciplinary Center. During the course, the student team developed and screened hundreds of innovation ideas for 11 leading factories and companies in Israeli industries.

ZOOZ will conduct an Innovation Day for the toiletry company Henkel-Sod. During this day, participants will work in teams, solve riddles and develop ideas for innovations in diverse goods and services using inventive thinking tools. Shachar Mor, a senior facilitator at ZOOZ, is facilitating this day.

ZOOZ has begun assisting a creative team comprised of different Clalit employees. The process began today with a creative advertising workshop, where tools for developing exceptionally creative ads were presented. After the workshop, participants will develop advertisements for an internal campaign on road safety, designed for Clalit employees.

ZOOZ conducted an Innovation Day for HP employees today. The day included an introduction to systematic innovation and approx. 20 ideas for QA innovations were presented for SOA applications. Later in the day, leading ideas were selected and one of their applications was discussed using De Bono’s six thinking hats.

ZOOZ is developing a marketing strategy for Celebros, the software company that provides sales promotion and user interface improvement solutions for virtual shops. Neta Weinrib, a strategic consultant and senior lecturer at ZOOZ, is leading the process.

ZOOZ gave a lecture today on Systematic Innovation at the frozen baked goods company Ma’adanot. The lecture presented different thinking tools to develop new products and solve technological problems. Mr. Shachar Mor, a Marketing and Technological Consultant at ZOOZ, gave the lecture.

ZOOZ gave a lecture on Systematic Innovation today to Product Managers at the high-tech company TTI. The lecture focused on solving technological problems and developing new products using inventive thinking tools. Mr. Shachar Mor, a Marketing and Technological Consultant at ZOOZ, gave the lecture.

ZOOZ will conduct a two-part workshop today and next week on Giving Effective Presentations to Team Managers at the high-tech company Jungo. Mr. Ilan Renny, a senior facilitator at ZOOZ, will conduct the workshop.

ZOOZ will assist the high-tech company Interwise this month to promote technological developments, as part of a process that included diagnosis and practical workshop for the company participants. The workshop was facilitated by a senior technological consultant at ZOOZ.

In the upcoming months, ZOOZ will give creativity and innovation workshops called “Do It Yourself” to various managers at Migdal insurance company. During the workshops, participants will be divided into groups that develop innovations in the following areas: cars, washing machines, universities, etc. Participants learn how to define and solve problems in these areas, and to invent innovations and new products.

ZOOZ will advise 888 on various marketing issues, including a campaign for the date 08.08.2008, which is identical to the company’s name. This will include an internal think tank at 88, assisted by a ZOOZ consultant.

ZOOZ will conduct a two-part workshop this month on the art of selling to salespeople at Fritz Companies. Itay Hel-Or, a business consultant and senior facilitator at ZOOZ, will conduct the workshop.

ZOOZ is assisting the Science Museum in Jerusalem market services and products for the Ministry of Education. The purpose of the process is to increase the number of pupils and preschoolers that visit the museum. The process includes differentiating and positioning the Science Museum, generating ideas using thinking tools, and internal and external screening, including market surveys. The process is conducted by Ari Manor, CEO of ZOOZ as part of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor’s Nitsos Program.

ZOOZ is conducting a Manager Development course at Solgar this month and in the following months. The course will teach a number of marketing and management topics, and its aim is to contribute knowledge and practical tools for Solgar’s management. The course will be taught by Ari Manor, CEO of ZOOZ and by Ilan Renny, Management Consultant and Senior Facilitator at ZOOZ.

This month, ZOOZ began assisting the Galilee Spices company. This includes a focalized process using microanalysis, identifying a strategic direction for the company, and developing ideas for innovation in the identified areas. The process is conducted by Shachar Mor from ZOOZ, as part of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor’s Nitsos Program.

ZOOZ gave an Inventive Thinking workshop today at BiondVax, the pharmaceutical company that developed an improved flu vaccine. The workshop taught and practiced 5 inventive thinking tools that enable problem solving and the development of new goods and services. De Bono’s six thinking hats method was also taught.

This month ZOOZ is giving three lectures on Marketing Strategy and Systematic Innovation as part of a Product Managers course, in collaboration with the High-Tech College. Participants acquire practical skills to create differentiation and positioning, for technological problem solving, and to develop new products.

ZOOZ is conducting a series of workshops for managers at various levels at Clalit Health Services this month and in upcoming months, as part of an enrichment program for Clalit managers called administrative gym. The workshops that ZOOZ will conduct are on the following topics: management styles, multiple intelligences, decision making – while demonstrating using thinking games.

ZOOZ will conduct Systematic Innovation workshops to the Matrix Group management as part of the management conference in Eilat today and tomorrow. During the workshop, managers will learn inventive thinking tools that enable problem solving and developing new goods and services. A workshop presenting De Bono’s six thinking hats method will also be given, and the tools learned will be applied to increase company sales. The workshop will be conducted by Ari Manor, CEO of ZOOZ.

This month and in the following months, ZOOZ will conduct workshops on complex B2B sales for global groups of salespeople from the dental implant company MIS. The workshops will be conducted by Ari Manor, CEO of ZOOZ and by Mr. Shachar Mor from ZOOZ.

Today ZOOZ gave a marketing strategy workshop of technological products for product managers at the high-tech company 888. The workshop was given as part of a Product Managers course organized by the High Tech College.

The Finance Managers at Migdal Insurance company will undergo a six thinking hats workshop this month, seeking a method that enables a productive and in-depth discussion of controversial issues, and assist in creating a more effective and cooperative organizational culture. The workshop will include a discussion of real problems that participants raise.

ZOOZ will assist Beigel Beigel develop innovations for three product lines – pretzels, snacks and crackers. The goal is to expand and upgrade the products that the company currently offers. The process includes raising ideas using thinking tools, and internal and external screening, including market surveys. The process is conducted by Ari Manor, CEO of ZOOZ, as part of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor’s Nitsos Program.

Further to innovation projects that were conducted, ZOOZ is currently giving ongoing marketing assistance to the industrial tap company, Habonim, from Kfar HaNasy. Among the rest, ZOOZ assists various teams in the company, including a sales team, a MarCom team, and a strategy team. In addition, ongoing consultation is being given to the CEO in a number of marketing related topics.

Ari Manor, CEO of ZOOZ, gave employees at McAfee the six thinking hats workshop today, which enables a productive and more in-depth discussion of controversial issues and helps to create a more effective and cooperative organizational culture. The workshop will include a discussion of real problems raised by the participants.

Eitan Morag, a ZOOZ facilitator, is conducting a series of personal coaching sessions with a manager at Hakiliya Nefromor. The coaching focuses on team management and motivating employees using self-fulfilling prophesy, according to the Pygmalion method.

ZOOZ will conduct a decision-making workshop using thinking games at Nova Measurement Instruments this month. The workshop is conducted by Danny Miraz, and is designed to give participants tools to help them make group and individual decisions. Thinking games are used in this workshop to demonstrate the principles taught, and for direct learning.

This month ZOOZ is giving three lectures in Marketing Strategy and Systematic Innovation as part of a Product Managers course, in collaboration with the High-Tech College. ZOOZ is assisting Mishkan Hatchelet develop innovations in the talit (prayer shawls) market. The purpose is to expand and upgrade the products that the company currently offers. The process includes developing ideas for innovations using thinking tools, identifying appropriate positioning for the company, and screening ideas using market surveys. The process is conducted by Mr. Elazar Bamberger from ZOOZ as part of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor’s Nitsos Program.

This month, ZOOZ conducted market surveys for Kidskit regarding high chairs. The first survey was a qualitative survey, which examined the main reasons specific chairs are preferred. The second survey examined the interest parents of toddlers have in an innovative concept in high chairs, which Kidskit developed and is interested in launching.

Today ZOOZ conducted a brief workshop on Marketing Strategy of Technological Products to 12 product managers at Marvell. The workshop was conducted as part of a product managers course given by the High Tech College.

ZOOZ conducted a decision-making workshop using thinking games at Clalit Heath Services. The tools taught help in decision-making processes combined with hands-on exercises and thinking games.

ZOOZTraining Organizational Consultants Activity at the Israel Association of Community Centers ZOOZ will assist the Israel Association of Community Centers train and certify employees and managers to serve as organizational consultants in the various units. This is a lengthy training process that is part of an internal organizational consultants' forum, led by Yossi Bar-Nachum from ZOOZ.

ZOOZ assisted the Wissotzky Tea Company in developing tea-related innovations. Next month, the management at Wissotzky will undergo a workshop led by Ari Manor, CEO of ZOOZ. During the workshop participants will raise ideas for new products and packaging, define criteria for good ideas, and internally screen ideas for tea-related innovations.

Managers at the First International Bank will undergo ZOOZ’s workshops this month as part of a course they are currently taking at LAHAV (Tel Aviv University’s Faculty of Management). The workshops, developed especially for the bank, will be led by Ilan Renny on behalf of ZOOZ, and include a workshop on Managerial Auditing (managing according to objectives, and more), and a workshop on service as a key to success (selling service, interpersonal communication, and more).

ZOOZ will assist Significant (a company that deals with electronic support solutions) in updating its product strategy. Ari Manor, CEO of ZOOZ, will facilitate a convention of Significant’s global distributers this month, during which product strategy will be discussed in order to increase its differentiation and market appeal, and to characterize desirable actions to be taken with various target populations. In addition, ideas for innovations will be developed, as well as an infrastructure for screening them with customers using concept testing.

ZOOZ will continue to provide marketing and business assistance to the ABC Institute (English courses for elementary school pupils), as part of the Nitsos Program. This time the emphasis will be on the five elements necessary for properly managing a small business: vision, employee management, customer service, MarCom, and finances. The aim is to identify applicable directions for growth that will enable the ABC Institute to grow and expand.

ZOOZ will help Sharon Mess from Tab Studio with branding the international jewelry company, Ayala Bar. Orly Adler-Nizri will manage the project on behalf of ZOOZ, including conducting market surveys, developing branding directions as part of the strategic workshops that Ayala Bar’s management will undergo, and assisting the progression of the branding process.

This week ZOOZ conducted Time Management workshops to managers and employees at the Medical Division of Johnson & Johnson in Israel. The workshops included, real changes made to participants’ schedules during the workshop. The workshops were dynamically led by Inbal Wenger on behalf of ZOOZ, and they received excellent feedback.

ZOOZ is currently assisting the Organ Transplant Center in raising awareness regarding organ donation among nurses and physicians. Assistance will include developing marketing materials and new presentations, and presentation and marketing communications workshops will be conducted to 17 Transplant Coordinators from the Center.

ZOOZ conducted an Employee Motivation workshop today to managers at the Barzilai Accounting Firm in Jerusalem. The workshop included demonstrations and simulations of employee motivation tools, and was extremely successful according to the participants. Yossi Bar-Nachum, a Senior Organizational Consultant at ZOOZ, conducted the workshop.

Ari Manor, CEO of ZOOZ, gave a lecture today on Blue Oceans Strategy to approx. 60 members of a Gilat (satellite networks) managers’ forum. The lecture was given as part of the forum’s “breakfast club”, and it presented a method for developing strategic innovation, with the aim of evading a competitive market and enjoying exclusivity in new markets.

Ari Manor, CEO of ZOOZ, conducted an Innovation workshop today at the Israel Aerospace Industries’ Lahav factory. The workshop was aimed at developing features and screening concepts for innovation equipment intended to assist combat pilots. Needless to say we can’t elaborate but we will mention that the day culminated in two interesting concepts being selected, and now the possibility of developing and applying them will be examined.

Throughout the months of June, July and August, ZOOZ will conduct a systematic innovation process at Habonim, manufacturers of industrial gates. The objective of the process is to develop a new generation of pneumatic operators. During the process, market surveys will be conducted to examine customer requirements in this area, and later ideas for possible innovations will be developed using technological invention thinking tools, An innovation committee will also be set up to screen and promote selected ideas. This is a continuing project that is part of the Nitsos program, sponsored by the Ministry of Industry, Trade & Labor.

ZOOZ will conduct a marketing and strategy innovation process at Ofek Aerial Photography. The objective is to expand and upgrade the available products and services that the company currently offers. The process is being led by ZOOZ’s Avi Scheinman, as part of the Ministry of Industry, Trade & Labor’s Nitsos Program.

ZOOZ is currently commencing an integrated Systematic Innovation process to two subsidiaries of Keter Plastic: Lotemplast (non-slip bathtub mats) and Portholes (tool boxes). The process will include developing ideas for innovations in these two product lines, together with managers from both companies, and later screening and promoting ideas by each company separately.

Ilan Renny, a Senior Management Consultant and Facilitator at ZOOZ, conducted a Time Management workshop today to the training team at the Gesher Society, which promotes tolerance and understanding between religious and secular Jews and to other groups in Israeli society. The workshop is unique in that the lessons learned from it are already applied during the workshop, where the participants are asked to open their calendars and change appointments they scheduled (to cancel unimportant appointments and call and reschedule new, more important appointments).

ZOOZ will conduct Key Talent workshops to two groups of managers at MIRS, the cellular communications company. Participants will learn how to identify, foster and promote talented employees. Avi Firouz, Manager of Organizational Development at ZOOZ, is leading the process.

Today ZOOZ conducted a Practical Job Interview Skills workshop to Immigrant Coordinators at JDC Israel (The Joint). The participants are constantly interviewing new immigrants and assisting them in integrating to jobs in the Israeli job market. The workshop was conducted in a dynamic manner, where participants experienced how it felt to be interviewed for a job. Participants also learned how to assess the interviewees and give them better and more effective service.

ZOOZ will conduct a presentation skills workshop tomorrow to managers at MIS, the dental implant company. During the workshop managers will learn guidelines for planning, writing and giving effective presentations. Later, each participant will develop a presentation according to the rules that were taught and present it to the others, while receiving mutual feedback to improve the participants’ proficiency.

This month ZOOZ is commencing a Technological Problem Solving process at the Gibor-Sabrina textile company. The process includes a 3-day course during which participants learn the Inventive Thinking method to solve technological problems, and later they characterize and solve a number of real problems that will enable Gibor-Sabrina to lower production costs and develop technological innovations. The course is being taught by ZOOZ’s Elazar Bamberger as part of the Nitsos Program - the government program that helps develop Israeli businesses innovations.

ZOOZ will provide Organizational Consulting and Development services to Tel Aviv University in the upcoming months. Consulting will include an assessment of the managerial challenges that one of the University’s units faces, and assisting with solving problems that arise. Avi Firouz, ZOOZ’s Organizational Development and Consulting Manager will lead the process.

Ari Manor, CEO of ZOOZ, led a workshop on Strategic Directions at the Yad Mordechai apiary today. The workshop focused on honey and on examining potential strategic directions in order to maintain the market segment and even increase honey consumption in Israel. Among other thing, positioning paths were examined (added value strategy), desired product mixes, and possibilities for fundamental strategic innovation (Blue Oceans Strategy). Participants expressed their extreme satisfaction at the end of the workshop and are currently applying its outcomes.

This month ZOOZ commenced a marketing and organizational assistance process with Galor, a company that supplies computerized work environments to travel agencies in Israel and abroad. Gilboa, the system that Galor developed, is installed in the majority of travel agencies in Israel. Ari Manor, CEO of ZOOZ will provide the marketing consulting, which will primarily focus on developing a marketing strategy and increasing sales abroad. The organizational consulting will be provided by Avi Firouz, ZOOZ’s Organizational Development and Consulting Manager, who will lead the management forum and help it function as an effective team.

ZOOZ will assist the extreme innovation team that was recently set up at Harmonic, which provides communication infrastructures for satellite, cable, and other broadcasts. The extreme innovation team is a technological team in essence, established to propose ideas for fundamental innovations that will enable Harmonic to grow and diversify its future revenues. The assistance process is subsidized by the government Nitsos Program, and will include assistance for managing the existing idea bank, during the first stage.

ZOOZ will assist Interwise (which develops Video Conference solutions) to lead an innovation year at the organization. The process, which began this month, includes establishing and assisting an innovation committee, seminars on systematic innovation to all of the organization’s employees, dividing the employees into teams that will develop innovations in the product, technology, and work procedures, and presenting solutions at a company conference. Employees that excelled in this activity will undergo a technological problem solving course, and will help with additional problems. The new ideas will be managed on a continuous basis by the innovation committee. The purpose of the activity is to encourage employees to propose ideas that will result in increased revenues and customer satisfaction, and to internal optimization – including lowering costs of hardware and development.

ZOOZ will conduct Presentation workshops to three groups of managers at Mobile Access, which provides solutions for wireless communication inside buildings. Each group will firstly undergo a workshop in which participants will learn principles of preparing and giving effective presentations. As a result of the first workshop each participant will develop his own presentation and present it to the rest of the group according to what was learned during his group’s second meeting. During the meeting, mutual feedback regarding the presentations will be shared in order to improve the participants’ skills.

Today ZOOZ gave a lecture on Transformational Leadership for Ministry of Education school principals, as part of a managers' forum of the Seminaries Union. The lecture, which received positive feedback, was given by Avi Firouz, Manager of Organizational Development & Consulting at ZOOZ.

ZOOZ conducted a Time Management workshop to two groups of Bnei Akiva education institution principals today. The participants learned effective time management tools and were even asked to apply what they had learned by changing their schedules during the workshop – including cancelling unimportant appointments and making important appointments (even if they were not urgent) for the upcoming month.

During the upcoming months ZOOZ will conduct sales workshops to all of the salespeople and managers of the 17 customer service centers at Motorola Israel. The objective of the activity is to improve sales skills and increase revenues from specific products. The workshop will present advanced sales tools, and participants will practice these tools, including simulations of real sales.

IRPC management will undergo a series of strategy workshops led by Ari Manor, CEO of ZOOZ, in order to identify potential growth directions. IRPC is a manufacturer of rubber components sold to the automobile industry in the United States and other countries. The automobile industry rubber component market has recently become less profitable, and has undergone a process of commodification. Therefore the workshops, conducted as part of the Ministry of Industry, Labor & Trade’s Nitsos Program, will focus on identifying expanding, more profitable, and less competitive markets that are suited to IRBC’s production capabilities.

Avi Firouz, ZOOZ’s Organizational Development Manager, gave a lecture today on resolving conflicts with customers and employees at the Modi’in Ezrahi Group’s manager’s convention (which provides guard and security services). Among other things, the managers learned how to clarify the hidden needs and motives of both sides in a conflict in order to try and arrive at win-win solutions in an effective and creative manner, and preserve good long-term relations.

ZOOZ, in collaboration with Jessica Cohen Studio is currently conducting “A Product is Born” process at the Shomron dairies, which markets cheeses, yoghurts and other quality dairy products. “A Product is Born” is a new consulting process, subsidized by the Ministry of Trade’s Nitsos Program, which enables companies to upgrade their existing product lines. The process includes a combination of observations and learning about consumption habits, strategic development, raising and screening ideas for new products, and industrial design of innovative products.

MDT, an exporter of dental drills marketed to dentists worldwide, will undergo a series of Systematic Innovation workshops aimed at developing and promoting functional and technological innovations regarding drills. The workshops will include raising ideas using thinking tools, and later screening and promoting an idea bank. The activities are subsidized by the Ministry of Industry, Trade & Labor’s Nitsos Program, which helps to foster innovation in Israeli organizations.

Avi Firouz, Manager of Organizational Development at ZOOZ, will conduct two dynamic workshops on identifying and fostering core skills of Motorola employees to technological managers at Motorola Israel. The activity will help Motorola Israel implement Motorola international processes and to adapt them to the local culture.

Gibor Sabrina, an exporter of textile products (underwear and more), is currently commencing a systematic innovation process in which ideas for innovation in tights, pantyhose, underwear, and active wear will be developed. The process, which ZOOZ is leading, is subsidized by the Ministry of Industry, Trade & Labor’s Nitsos Program, and will also include screening and promoting selected ideas.

This month, Avi Firouz - Manager of Organizational Development at ZOOZ, is completing the assistance process to the HR Department at ECI regarding Key Talent in the organization. Until now the process included defining criteria for evaluating managers in the organization, and developing and calibrating an evaluation model enabling decision- making regarding promoting managers along various promotion paths in the organization, including the training they will need to undergo and experience they will need to acquire in order to make such a promotion possible.

Ari Manor, CEO of ZOOZ, gave a lecture today to approx. 30 hardware and development people at Harmonic, the high-tech company that develops infrastructures for video conferences. The lecture clarified the concepts of marketing strategy and marketing approach (in contrast to a product or manufacturing approach), and is intended to help participants develop a macro perspective and better understanding of market needs. Similar lectures will be given this year to Visonic and to various teams at Kodak-Creo.

A unique course that ZOOZ developed will give sales and operations people at Hogla-Kimberley practical experience in developing business enterprises by learning various features of the marketing world. During the five meetings of the course, the participants are divided into entrepreneurs in the DIY domain, and learn how to develop a marketing and positioning strategy for their enterprise. Later they also develop a marketing plan, including developing a product mix, raising and screening ideas for innovations, and a strategy for marketing penetration. Each entrepreneur will present his plan to the management of Hogla-Kimberley during the fifth and final meeting of the course. This way, the participants acquire a comprehensive marketing understanding, and can better relate to the needs of Hogla-Kimberley and its customers.

ZOOZ will conduct a service improvement process at GMT’s customer center, which provides money transferring services between countries. The process will include observing the center’s activities, developing a satisfaction questionnaire, submitting suggestions for improvement, and a workshop on acquiring complementary skills, according to the actual outcomes.

Avi Scheinman, a Senior Strategic and Management Consultant at ZOOZ, will assist Carmel Systems in examining innovative strategic direction possibilities, and management of innovation processes. Carmel Systems is the leading paper packaging solutions company in Israel.

ZOOZ will conduct a series of workshops at Terraflex, which supplies pipes to the global DIY industry and market, in order to identify promising strategic directions and help the organization with innovation management. The process will first of all include a number of strategy workshops that the Terraflex management will undergo, and later – developing an idea bank for innovation in relevant product lines.

Avi Firouz, Manager of Organizational Development at ZOOZ, is assisting the HR Department at Audiocodes, which provides VoIP communication infrastructures. The assistance includes, assistance with MBO (Management By Objectives) process, and an Outdoors workshop for executives at the organization.

Avi Scheinman from ZOOZ will assist Amir Erez, CEO of Matechet Maayan, with business strategy, marketing solutions, and in leading change processes. Matechet Maayan manufactures and markets castors and wheels for carts, furniture, and more. The assistance will focus on potential growth directions in international markets.

ZOOZ, in collaboration with Jessica Cohen Studio, will lead the “Product is Born” process at Ofertex, which recycles cloth from production remnants and uses them to make floor cloths, cleaning cloths, and other products sold worldwide. The “Product is Born” process is subsidized by the Ministry of Industry, Trade & Labor’s Nitsos Program, which enables organizations to upgrade existing product lines. The process includes a combination of observations and learning about consumption habits, strategic development, raising and screening ideas for new products, and industrial design of innovative products.

Ari Manor, CEO of ZOOZ, conducted a Systematic Innovation workshop today at Odem Plast, which manufactures toddler products under the brand name KidsKit in Israel and markets in chains abroad. During the workshop ideas for innovations in existing product lines were raised (for example – a booster/high chair for toddlers) and for new product lines that will serve to expand the brand. The workshop produced dozens of good ideas, a portion of which will be applied in the near future.

The Foreign Trade Administration is a unit of the Ministry of Industry, Trade & Labor, whose purpose is to increase Israel’s competitiveness in international markets. ZOOZ is assisting the Foreign Trade Administration in the repositioning process, in order to achieve more exposure to the Administration’s activities and importance. Within the framework of the process main target populations will be identified (industrialists and exporters), a new name and slogan will be suggested (The Israel Trade Agency – Worldwide Leverage) and is currently forming an annual MarCom plan.

Visonic manufactures and markets wireless electronic systems for private homes that provide security (alarms, etc.), command and control, remote medicine, and more. Visonic has joined our ranks of clients and the first activities include business coaching for an executive at Visonic and a lecture on strategy that was given to approx. 50 members of the company’s extended management. The lecture was given as part of preparation for a comprehensive strategic change process that Visonic is currently undergoing.

Roll Profiles, a member of the Klil Group, will undergo a process of learning and applying technological problem solving tools. Technical people from the Group are participating in the process and learning inventive thinking tools that make it possible to arrive at breakthrough solutions, enable cost reduction, or apply innovative technologies. The process will last approximately seven days as part of the Nitsos Program, and the best part of it is solving real problems that the factory faces, and creating a fundamental financial benefit for the company.

ZOOZ gives a lecture today on employee motivation to approx.40 regional and branch managers, at the Bnei Akiva movement’s manager’s convention. The lecture is based on the unique Three Gears model that ZOOZ developed, which offers various methods for motivating different employees according their level of motivation (dissatisfied, neutral, and satisfied). Yad Mordechai apiaries underwent a workshop this month where they learned how to systematically screen ideas for innovations in food products. The screening stage, conducted by the innovation committee, includes internal screening, and later an external screening with customers using concept testing. The activity at Yad Mordechai is a continuation of the Ministry of Industry, Trade & Labor’s Nitsos Program, where dozens of ideas were developed for innovations in oil and honey during a previous stage.

Ari Manor, CEO of ZOOZ, conducted a workshop today on Value Innovation and Blue Oceans Strategy to staff at Enterprise, the strategic consulting company. The workshop presented them with a new and alternative way to develop a business strategy, which makes it possible to identify new competitor-free markets, and to act in unconventional ways opposed to regular competitive strategy, in order to grow exceptionally.

Lectures given this week to approx. 100 R&D personnel of two different departments at Creo, were awarded excellent feedback from participants. The lectures dealt with Marketing, a topic that is not in their area of expertise. The lectures clarified to the participants why a marketing approach actually leads to a macro perspective and is essential for their personal success. Participants learned the principles of competitive strategy, practiced identifying a lucrative target population, and were exposed to a variety of inferior (production, product) and superior (marketing) approaches to marketing management.

Managers and marketing personnel from Israel Aerospace Industries’ Lahav factory underwent a marketing penetration workshop today, and learned how to arrive at and meet clients around the world using the power of … thought. The workshop is based upon an original method that ZOOZ developed, and makes it possible to reach difficult target populations by focusing on the customer’s needs, regardless of the advantages of the product of service offered. Ari Manor, CEO of ZOOZ, will conduct a Rapid Positioning and Creative Advertising workshop at Orbotech’s International MarCom convention at the beginning of July 2006. MarCom managers from around the globe will participate in the convention. During the workshop these managers will learn how to effectively identify and advertise Orbotech products’ unique advantages.

Product Managers at StarHome, which supplies roaming infrastructures and services to mobile communication suppliers around the world, underwent a workshop on Marketing Creativity today. During the workshop the participants learned an Introduction to Creativity, learned various thinking tools, raised practical ideas for new products and services, and gained experience in an effective discussion about complex ideas using the Six Thinking Hats.

Managers at Plastic Magen learned how to cut costs using inventive thinking tools during the workshop today. The workshop focused on reducing packaging costs for the solar receptors that Plastic Magen manufactures. A number of original and practical ideas were raised during the workshop, and their applicability is currently being tested. The prognosis is that the ideas will lead to savings of hundreds of thousands of shekels each year.

Univercol, the Nirlat Group’s paint manufacturer, is currently undergoing systematic innovation workshops and learning how to systematically solve technological problems in order to reduce production costs and develop technological innovations. The workshops, led by Avi Scheinman from ZOOZ, are being conducted as part of the Ministry of Industry, Trade & Labor’s Nitsos Program.

Managers at Cisco Israel will participate today in a Six Thinking Hats workshop, and will learn a methodology that enables in-depth and comprehensive discussion on controversial issues, and induces a more cooperative and efficient organizational culture. Disscussion at the workshop will include actual problems brought up by participants.

Management at Beryl-Davis, a high-visibility protective clothing and workwear firm, prticipated today in a Positioning workshop led by Ari Manor, the CEO of ZOOZ consultancy. Two promising ways for positioning the company were found. One of them will be selected following a market survey prepared by ZOOZ. The new positioning will enable Beryl-Davis to add value to its products, and to differentiate the company from its competitors. This activity is done in collaboration with Jessica Cohen Studio, that leads a NITSOTS program at Beryl-Davis.

ZOOZ has facilitated today a Creative Advertising workshop to the marketing and creative departments at ICQ (the instant messaging inventor). During the workshop participants learned various tools for instant positioning and for creating highly creative and remarkable ads, and used these tools to develop creative ideas for positioning and for advertising ICQ itself to different target audiences.

ZOOZ facilitated today a Seminar on Creativity and Inventive Thinking, at MOFET Institute, that teaches management skills to teachers and workers from various colleges. Participants learened about different approaches to creativity, were exposed to thinking tools that help innovate products and services systematically, and practiced in-depth discussions on complexed issues - using De-Bono's Six Hats methodology.

ZOOZ will facilitate a Decision Making workshop to managers at Israel Railways. The workshop combines learning through board games. This enables participants to experience personal and group decision making, to improve their act, and to practice - all during the workshop itself.

Drug detailers from the Gynecology department at Neopharm participated today in a Creative Advertising workshop, during which they were exposed to dozens of highly creative ads, learned the templates common to many of them, and how to use such templates to generate remarkable ads systematically. During the workshop, all the print ads that appeared in Israeli newspapers today were presented and analyzed.

The Management of Noga Engineering (a provider of industrail hand tools) participates these months in a series of Strategic workshops led by ZOOZ, in order to find growth paths in new markets (based on current product lines), and in current markets (based on new pruduct lines). Promising paths that were suggested are now screened via market tests. The target is to reach double digit growth in the coming years.

Senior managers at SONOL, that run gas stations and a chain of convenient stores in them (sogood), participated today in a workshop aimed at finding attractive ways to differenciate the company and re-position it. The workshop resulted several interesting ideas for differentiation in the oil market, that is very competitive in Israel.

5 Carpenters (5 NAGARIM), a retail chain of furnitures for children and teenagers, undergoes Systematic Innovation workshops these months, aimed at developing and screening inovative ideas for furnitures. The process, led by ZOOZ, is part of the Nitsos Project, sponsered by the Israeli Ministry of Trade, and is expected to yield significant differentiation and competitive edge to 5 Carpenters.

ZOOZ held a lecture on Blue Ocean Strategy today, to managers of the RX department at Neopharm. Surprising strategic ideas, that can help Neopharm grow and gain competitive edge, were discussed during the lecture. The lecture was given by Ari Manor, the CEO of ZOOZ, during Neopharm's annual management conference.

ZOOZ will facilitate Systematic Innovation workshops to The ABC Institute, that provides English teaching to junior school pupils. At the first stage Marketing Communication plan will be developed, in order to support current marketing efforts. Then, strategic growth paths will be examined, and the company's strategy will be updated. And, at last, innovative ideas for products and services will be developed, to support the choosen strategy.

Avi Shienman of ZOOZ consulting will help SGD to define strategic growth paths, and to develop a marketing plan, aimed at approaching new types of clients in Israel and abroad. Currently, SGD provides Aeronautics Engineering services to clients in Israel, Turkey and the USA.

ZOOZ facilitated a marketing and advertising creativity workshop to marketing managers fo the Usrael Association of Community Centers this month. During the workshop, ideas for collaboration between Community Centers and Schools were developed, and marketing consulting to various problems was provided. In addition, ZOOZ will facilitate on 02-Feb-06 a Blue Ocean Strategy workshop to Community Centers managers from HaSharon region.

ZOOZ facilitated a systematic innovation and creativity workshop to managers at Intel (in Haifa). The workshop presented our approach to Systematic Innovation Management, as well as various creativity tools: SCAMPER and the Six Thinking Hats. The workshop included learning through board games (Abalone), and development of dozens of creative ideas in the areas the participants manage.

ZOOZ has held a lecture on New Product Development using Inventive Thinking tools to marketing students at the Polytechnic University. The lecture was given as a part of Product Innovation course, and presented various thinking tools as well as our systematic approach to Innovation Management.

ZOOZ will lecture on Technological Problem Solving using Inventive Thinking to employees at  MEKOROT (the Israeli water supply organization). The lecture presents various thinking tools and covers breaktrough solutions of actual problems that were achieved by using these tools.

ZOOZ will facilitate a System-Oriented Vision workshop, combinig board games, at MIGDAL (Israeli Insurance firm). ZOOZ has facilitated a Technological Problem Solving workshop, including a demonstation of various Inventive Thinking tools, to engeneers at  Enerco (an Energy Provider). The workshop will be followed by practical meetings, in order to crack and solve actual problems, and to yield significant cost reductions (over $100,000).

ZOOZ will facilitate a Soft Skills Project Management workshop to Roads deprtment at Tel-Aviv Municipality. The workshop teaches tools for improving communication skills, and includes simulations  (of dealing with contractors and residents) that the participants face when leading actual projects.

The business coaching process entails a series of one-on-one meetings of the coach with a manager, during which goals are set, and resources and tool for achieving them are identified. ZOOZ is leading the establishment of a network of artists from Jerusalem. The goal of the project is to brand a unique Jerusalem line of art, and to distribute the culture and heritage of Jerusalem in Israel and beyond. The process is part of the Nitsos Network Project allowing independent business people to develop products together, and is part of the Nitsos program, sponsered by the Israeli Ministry of Trade.

ZOOZ will hold a workshop for developing new services at for senior management at the Israeli Export Institute. The process will include analysis of existing service to the institute's members, identification of service success factors, and and introduction to the SCAMPER tools for developing new ideas. Later, participants will develop ideas for new services that will provide business opprtunities to members.

ZOOZ will hold a strategy workshop for the management of Amal Hesegim college network. The workshop will cover principles of marketing strategy, as well as methods for positioning and differentiation. Later, participants will examine the implications of these tools to their own business environment.

ZOOZ will help Shilav to develop a unique strategy in the field of newborn packages. The newborn packages market in Israel is highly competetive. The project will utilize unique approaches and world-leading methods for developing strategic directions.

ZOOZ will hold workshops for product managers and other staff at Eli Lilly Israel. The process includes unique workshops on creative brand management, as well as a brand management forum. The course was developed to answer the firm's specific needs, in order to promote improved and original work procedures.

All participants in Agis's workshop today gave a perfect 5.00 score to Inbal Wenger and to the practical implications of the Job Condidate Interview workshop. During the workshop participants learned and practiced interview skills, and developed specific questions for the roles they interview for.

ZOOZ will hold a workshop on Systems Management and Theory of Constraints at Osem Industries. The workshop will include team exercises in the games Abalone and Rush Hour to demonstrate and practice the subjects.

ZOOZ will hold workshops on Project Management Soft Skills and on planning, to project managers at Elcam Medical.

All 11 participants in Neopharm's Medical department management training course gave a perfect 5.00 score to Inbal Wenger & Amir Elion for the course's facilitation. The course consisted of 10 meetings and was tailored to suit the group's needs.

ZOOZ is holding Systematic Innovation workshops at Strauss Salads. The workshops include systematic thinking tools for new product development and idea screening. Some 200 innovation ideas will be developed for Achla Salads and for AFH products.

Arad Technologies, developing advanced wireless water metering systems, will have a Systematic Innovation and Technological Problem-Solving course by ZOOZ. The purpose of the course is to improve client responsiveness and save costs. The course is part of the Nitsos Project, sponsered by the Israeli Ministry of Trade.

ZOOZ will provide workshops on sales skills and employee development to the Call Center in the Pharmacy Department of Agis Ditribution & Marketing.

Shilav (Israel's largest baby products chain) management team, will participate in Systematic Innovation workshops with ZOOZ, aiming to develop innovations in newborn packages and other fields. The process will include tools for developing and screening innovative ideas.

ZOOZ has started a management development course for area managers and senior managers of ZEVA Fund. The course will span 12 workshops tailored for the organization's unique characteristics. ZEVA operates dozens of children study and social centers in Israel, with the help of volunteers. ZOOZ will contribute half of the course cost.

All 12 participating line managers in today's workshop at Agis Industries gave a perfect 5.00 rating to the facilitator Inbal Wenger, to the practical implications, and to all other feedback questions. The workshop covered management skills tailored for their specific needs. Gevaram's management team will participate in a series of Systematic Innovation workshops with ZOOZ in upcoming months, aiming to develop innovations in envelopes and other fields. The process will include the development of an innovative idea-bank, and the establishment of an innovation committee to choose and promote selected ideas. The process is a part of the Nitzotz program, supported by the Israeli Minisrty of Industry & Trade.

On March 4th, ZOOZ gave a lecture on creative advertising in a propagandists' conference of Dexxon Pharmaceutical. Following the strong impression of the audience, Dexxon's product managers requested our marketing consulting on an upcoming advertising campaign.

Dafron (Israel's largest notebook manufacturer) management team, will participate in a series of Systematic Innovation workshops with ZOOZ in upcoming months, aiming to develop innovations in notebooks and other fields. The process will include the development of an innovative idea-bank, and the establishment of an innovation committee to choose and promote selected ideas.

Strauss Icecreams management team will have a Systematic Innovation workshop this month. The workshop, specifically designed by ZOOZ for Strauss, will include and introduction to innovation. Participants will then develop creative solutions in three different fields (marketing, distribution & HR), using taught thinking tools. Next, ideas will be rated and the best ones will be thoroughly discussed.

Wizcom, manufacturer of Quictionary translation-pen, will develop in upcoming months an updated strategic workplan, with the help of ZOOZ. This project is a continuation of a previous ZOOZ project, examining in depth the existing strategy, and recommending short-term existing products development directions. Strategy development will include target audience analysis, vision development, formulation of marketing plan, setting of of business goals and suitable budgeting for various target audiences.

In a two-day Systematic Innovation workshop by ZOOZ for a multi-disciplinary team from Bagir, some 200 innovation ideas in tailored suits (jackets & trousers) were developed. Some ideas were even sewed and demonstrated to the participants. The idea-bank (including ideas from other sources as well), will now be screened in Israel and abroad, towards the development of new suits by Bagir. This process follows the development of five new types of innvative suits by Bagir in the 2003 workyear, with close ZOOZ assistance.
