New Products - Strauss Salads

Following are examples of new products developed by Strauss Salads. These products were invented during a Systematic Innovation New Product Development workshop.
 

 

Thinking Tool: Reduction
Product : Shakshuka (oriental omelet) Mixture, with tomatoes and spices. The new mixture makes the Shakshuka dish fast and easy to make at home. The mixture is poured into a frying pan after which eggs are added. The dish is ready to serve within five minutes. This new salad adheres to the Strauss positioning that addresses the Israeli taste. It was selected as one of the leading ideas at the Inventive Thinking workshop after realizing that Strauss could develop it immediately and relatively easily.

Another salad that was developed following that workshop, and that supports the same positioning, is Turkish Salad .
